Seoul Tower Ville

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and the room was just right for a short vacation. They even offered to drive us to the train station when we were running late, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Best customer service I've had at any hotel I've stayed in. Thank you!

I first stayed here over 10 years ago and came back several times for work and holidays. It's sad to see Seoul Tower Ville becoming less maintained. Mr Ko is still very helpful and respectful, responds quickly, and can pick you up or drop you at Myeongdong if you arrange it in advance. The location is excellent, close to the shopping street and plenty of restaurants, and the price is very affordable. This time I booked a single room months ahead. A couple of days before check-in, I was told there was a plunder issue with my room, so the host moved me to a smaller one. With the city already packed with international fans for the BTS concert, I thought it would be hard to find another place and accepted. I regretted it as soon as I arrived. It was in the basement, not the “ground floor” as described, and I was literally under a staircase. The room was so tiny I couldn't even open my 21” luggage. The sound insulation was terrible. I could hear other guests walking, talking, slamming doors, and smoking outside. In early spring, temperatures still drop to zero in the evening, but the host hadn't turned on the heater. I was freezing and couldn't sleep. I asked him to turn it on, since I could tell the room had floor heating. He said he'd look into it, but nothing changed. The room also wasn't maintained well, with a torn cabinet door and a badly fixed hair dryer. I used to run an Airbnb, so I know keeping a hostel in good shape can be challenging, especially when demand is high. After this stay, I think it was my last time at Seoul Tower Ville.

The owner was friendly and gave us a ride to the airport bus stop on checkout day. The hotel is close to the subway and halal restaurants like kampungku and maehwa lamb skewer. The drawback is the stairs on the way up, and there's no elevator inside.

I had a wonderful stay. The place was comfortable and nice, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come back!
