Sincheon Ramon Hotel

The best part for me was the bedding. It was fluffy, clean, and had a lovely feel, unlike some motel bedding where the fabric and filling come apart when you move around. The floor was heated, and there was an electric blanket too, so it should be very warm in winter. The room itself was clean and the floor wasn't sticky. Ramon in Sincheon is close to Jamsilsaenae Station and among several other motels. There are lots of convenience stores and affordable cafés nearby, so grabbing a coffee before a day-use stay is easy. The small lobby has a microwave and coffee machine. It smelled of cigarettes there, but the room was well ventilated and had no smoke smell. When I first got my key, the room wasn't ready. I told the owner, who apologized, gave me an extra 30 minutes, and moved me to another room. They were kind and down-to-earth. The air conditioner worked well, and the TV and OTT functioned properly. The bathroom had good water pressure, hot water, and drainage. I was glad a basic standard room still had a bathtub, and four towels were plenty. The main drawback was the soundproofing. I could clearly hear the next room's TV and intimate noises. ㅠㅠ

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the paperwork was processed quickly and the response was accurate, which made the stay easy. The owner was also very welcoming. I can't speak for the other rooms, but mine had no windows.

Cigarette smoke filled the whole floor, including my room, and it stayed there until I left. Ventilating didn't make it go away. The staff seemed unprofessional, there were only 220V plugs, and the key was a metal one instead of a card. In the public restroom, toilet paper was the only thing we saw. Calling this a “hotel” feels like a fraud.

The bed is big and the lighting is soft. It's near Sincheon Station, and the bathroom is spacious, but the soundproofing is poor.
