Stylish Hotel Ditto

I didn’t even check in because the whole experience was so off-putting, and I won’t go back. They wanted me to pay extra for an upgrade just because I arrived 20 minutes early. When I said no, they told me to come back exactly at my reservation time. I’d driven there, but they still made me move the car and return later. They cut the booking time down to four hours too. This doesn’t seem to be a one-off. A quick search turns up more than five similar cases. It sounds like Deluxe rooms are in worse shape than standard ones and don’t book well, so they’re trying to rip people off. The unfriendly reviews below seem accurate, and the responses to them are ridiculous. They need customer service training and should pay to learn how to handle situations like this. There were no guests at this motel when I went, while the place next door was filling up. Sinchon has plenty of motels, so go somewhere else. With service like this, I can only imagine what the rooms and cleanliness are like. There was no kindness or flexibility at all. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

The cigarette smell was awful morning and night, and the cheap air freshener smell was bad too. The bed had no cushioning at all. There were cold fried eggs in the basement cafeteria, along with a variety of free drinks.

I just wanted to leave, but it started raining, so I finished what I needed to do and then went. I wasn’t expecting special treatment for being a customer, just the basics. The service was the worst, and I understand why people leave bad reviews. It feels like they think taking people’s money is enough. The outside and facilities look like an old motel, so it’s surprising they’ve operated this way for so long. The facilities were nowhere near as good as the pictures, and it was so dirty that it smelled of cigarettes and my hair was gone... This was the first motel like this I’d ever been to. It wasn’t even worth one star ㅡㅡ

I sometimes come here for an overnight stay because it’s good value, even on a Saturday. Every now and then I find myself craving a glass of beer from the counter.
