Tetto House - Hostel

There are four rooms and three bathrooms, which worked really well for our group of eight or more. The host was friendly, and the bathrooms were convenient for several people, though the toilets themselves are small. The fourth-floor bathroom is spacious, but the host only lets groups of eight or more use it. The guesthouse is a short walk from Hongdae Station, in an area with trendy shops and restaurants that quiets down at night. It's on the third floor, which could be hard for women carrying large bags. The stairs up to the fourth and top floors are especially steep, so take care going up and down. The bunk beds weren't comfortable. Their IKEA frames and thin mattresses meant we had to use two mattresses, and I think a wooden board underneath would help. It would also be helpful if the host messaged guests ahead of time about cleaning. Having someone suddenly come in to change towels or take out trash can be startling, and the host was still cleaning when we arrived on our first night. Letting guests know the timing in advance would help.
