Thebombstay Gangnam

The 9th floor was a rough start: mold on the walls, dim lighting, dust on some surfaces, and the room opened onto the air conditioning vents. During heavy rain, water also leaked through the ceiling. I asked to move and got a room on the 5th floor, which had better light and less mold. The receptionist who helped me was very cooperative. Rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels, and check-in and checkout were simple. The location is convenient, within walking distance of Gangnam and Yeoksam-dong subway stations. There are convenience stores nearby, and the neighborhood felt safe. For a boutique hotel, I thought it was worth the price, though some renovation would be welcome.
