The room was comfy and cozy, and the hostel sits right in the middle of all the tourist spots. The people working there are amazing. I stayed at the Pencil Station Hostel in Beijing and had an amazing time. Big thanks to intern Luba and Jin for the wonderful breakfast and accommodating stay. If you're visiting Korea on a budget, Pencil Station is the place to be. Need I say more?

I was surprised by the room. Before Jin showed me in, the reception looked dull, with no artistic touch, and the stairs were narrow. It was winter, so maybe everything looked dull. But the room was a complete turnaround: cozy, warm, and spacious, and it felt like home. Jin is the owner of ss Pencil Hostel, speaks English, and is very friendly. For families traveling together, it's a great choice. There's a washing machine, a hood, an induction stove, a sink, kitchen utensils for cooking and serving, and cabinets for storage. So what are you waiting for? Call Jin, she should be there!

This hostel is tucked into a very traditional, old Korean neighborhood, and the owner is kind and helpful. I've stayed in hotels, hostels, and motels many times, and this was the best and most convenient place I've lived in. Worth it!

We stayed three nights in a four-bed family room, and we all liked the hostel. Jujin and her staff member Suyi were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, and they provided excellent service.
