Namsan Story Nine

We stayed as a family and were really impressed by the room. There was plenty of space for luggage, and it never felt cramped. The room was clean and thoughtfully laid out, with cozy beds and enough room for both the adults and kids.

We found the uphill walk to the hotel a little inconvenient on arrival with several suitcases. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it. The en-suite room was cute and fully equipped, with a small kitchenette and minibar. The staff were excellent and even gave us Korean soy milk when we checked in early.

I didn’t think this place was worth the money. There was a sewage smell, no bath towels or tea, coffee, or anything like that, and the location was only average. The walls were extremely thin, among other problems. I emailed and messaged the manager asking for help arranging a taxi for an early departure, but never got a reply. There’s free coffee for people who leave reviews, so take the other reviews with a grain of salt.

We were four travelers from Indonesia and wanted to try living in an apartment in Korea. We booked Namsan Story Nine through Marriot bon voi and really enjoyed our stay. The owner was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. He explained how to take the bus: get off at Baekbeom Plaza bus stop in front of the road to the hostel, then take the elevator down. There’s also a lovely park across the road for a morning walk. Our room was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, and there was a washing machine. Bath soap and shampoo were provided. We had a great time here and will come back.
