The design feels cozy and looks great, and we had a really good four-night stay. We were especially glad to find a three-bedroom suite that works well for families. Guests can also use the laundry, and Myeongdong and other shopping areas are close enough to walk to.

We stayed six nights at UH Suite Central Seoul, in a three-bedroom apartment that cost about SGD 600 a night. For that price, I expected much more. There was no scenic view, no bathtub in either of the two bathrooms, and just one TV in the living room. The walls felt rough and unsafe, especially with children sleeping beside them, and the interior seemed dated and uninspiring. For a family, two rooms in a proper four- or five-star hotel would have felt more comfortable at the same cost, with better amenities and more modern rooms. The building and common areas also fell short. The exterior and lobby looked poorly maintained and dim, and there was an unpleasant smell. There isn’t really a hotel-style lobby, which added to our discomfort. The area felt dark and unsafe at night. There’s only one small-capacity elevator, so waits were often frustratingly long, especially for a family or group. Staff were adequate and did their jobs, but the service didn’t feel particularly warm or attentive. We booked directly through the hotel app and paid considerably more than the rates on third-party sites such as Agoda. The direct booking terms were also much stricter: cancellation was only allowed up to a week before check-in, after which we’d lose the full amount. Third-party apps offered more flexibility, so paying a premium for the direct booking was disappointing. I’ve traveled with my family regularly over the past six years, and this was our most disappointing accommodation. The building, apartment, lobby, and facilities were all far below what we expected. I regret choosing UH Suite Central Seoul and wouldn’t recommend it, particularly for families. We won’t be back. It was a lesson learned, and next time a proper hotel would be a better choice. Future travelers should consider this carefully before booking.

We were upgraded to a larger suite for free before the trip, and they let us check in an hour early. The kitchen had tea, water, a microwave, and utensils. Our room was clean, with a spacious bathroom, and the hotel is conveniently close to the station and myeongdong shopping district.

It was comfortable and roomy for our family of six, more spacious than many hotels. Public transport is nearby, and stores like Daiso, Olive Young, and convenience shops are an easy walk away. I’d definitely recommend it for a large family.

Coming in from the cold with my family, I really enjoyed how warm and cozy the place felt. The service was okay, nothing special. Some rooms felt a bit cramped, but the beds and amenities were acceptable. The bathrooms were decent, though there wasn’t a bathtub. I also liked the heated living room floor and the TV for playing music.
