Vabien Suite 1 Serviced Residence

The property is aging, but it's still well maintained, with roomy units and good parking. It's a decent residence hotel in central Seoul with a mix of short-stay Asian tourists, Middle Eastern medical visitors staying longer, and locals who own units here. Family and kid friendly too.

The room is huge, and it's close to central sights like City Hall and Duksoogung. But there was a smell, probably because of the types of foreign guests the place caters to. They also couldn't quite get the dryer fixed. I won't return.

We were on our way to catch the KTX to Busan and hoped to leave some suitcases at Vabien Suite 1, taking only the others with us. We'd done this before at another established apartment hotel. At first they said their luggage storage was full, but after we asked further, they managed to take one bag, which was better than nothing. Thanks to the staff for accommodating us.

On the second day, a serious clog in the bathroom pipes couldn't be fixed right away. The technician said it would be sorted the next day, but the very same issue returned on day three. Another technician came and gave us the same answer. The situation was extremely disgusting and left a terrible impression on my family and me, even though the first night's service had gone smoothly.
