The neighborhood feels quiet and safe, but it’s a long way from Hongdae and the subway station. The common area is a little small.

The host was kind, and breakfast was fresh and really delicious.

The owners are a husband and wife, and they’re incredibly kind. Make sure to ask them for your room access code ahead of time, since they often aren’t there when you arrive. They’re usually there between 9 and 11 AM. The area felt very safe, being near schools, and everyone I met was kind. I stayed for a week and didn’t run into anyone strange. The place is tucked down an alley and took a little time to find. Naver is useful for navigation. The closest exit is Hongdae Exit 3, around a 15-20 minute walk away, with supermarkets and convenience stores along the route. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with extension cords and sockets thoughtfully provided. The bathroom is shared, and toiletries are available. It’s much more comfortable than a typical hostel. Breakfast is served every day and is delicious. The downside is there’s no elevator, so you have to use the stairs.

The room was cozy and actually warm, not cold at all. The heater worked, and there was an electric blanket too. I had the bottom bed to myself. Leaving with fond memories 🥰 The top floor is really nice 👏🏻👏🏻. There are lots of houses nearby, though, so please keep the noise down after 10 PM!
