Dawa Motel

The room had a powerful artificial smell as soon as I walked in. They said it might be from disinfecting with CESCO, though I'm not sure that was actually the cause. I was offered another room, but it smelled just as bad. Opening the window and running the air purifier on the air conditioner helped only a little, so anyone sensitive to smells should keep that in mind. There was no kettle, coffee, tea, or water purifier in the room. The bathroom was the one place without any unpleasant odor, unlike other fairly clean places I've stayed. The facilities are quite old, but the price is lower than nearby options, which seems to be the main reason to stay here.

The price is very cheap, and the interior is cleaner than the outside. Towels were nice, though the water marks on the bathroom mirror made it hard to see. There was a TV, Wi-Fi, and a computer, but nothing fancy. The soundproofing was awful. I could hear water running and people walking, and couldn't sleep. Maybe next time...ㅠㅠ

There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was easy to get what I needed. The place is affordable, and my room was quiet and cozy enough for a comfortable rest.

As of March 13, 2019, the staff were friendly and the prices reasonable. There’s no parking, but the ondol rooms cost less than at other places. A convenience store and bakery are nearby. Spend around 10,000 won at the bakery and they give you two loaves of bread, which is nice. The motel itself feels like a clean inn, though the neighbors can be a bit noisy.
