Breakfast on the screened porch overlooking the pond each morning felt like paradise, and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub too. Rose was amazing. We had a great week at Shangri La BNB, even though we ended up staying in two different rooms, long story. There’s a short drive to lovely beaches and restaurants. Thanks, Rose, we’re looking forward to coming back!

The Papaya suite is spacious, and its lovely roof terrace gave us our own spot for evening drinks and sunset views. We had a wonderful three-day stay in mid-February 2026, and Rose took great care of us. The bicycles have some character, but they got us to Cemetery Beach twice for snorkeling and to Tukka for a lovely lunch and rum punch. If we come back, I’d probably rent a car, though I’d choose a local company over an international chain.

Our room at Shangri la was spectacular, and the estate was spotless and comfortable. It’s a short drive to the beach, a small inconvenience that was worth it. There was snorkeling and beach chair access, and several excellent restaurants nearby. Rose was a terrific host, and we had a blast. We’d stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Shangri-La is a clean, beautiful and comfortable haven in a peaceful setting. Rose is a caring host who looks after her guests so well. We loved staying here and will choose it again when we return to Grand Cayman.

Quiet but still a short drive from restaurants, beaches and town, the location worked perfectly for us. Rose and her team keep everything immaculate, and the welcoming, familiar service made us feel at home. Having mats, snorkel gear, beach chairs and an umbrella available made exploring Cayman’s beaches so easy. Great value for the price, and our stay was a pleasure. We’d definitely return. Rose is ❣️
