I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with after booking this place on Booking.com in 2017. I accidentally chose a non-refundable rate, then called Booking.com literally five minutes later about a reservation more than two and a half months away. They sent me to the owner of La Cazetta, who was handling it then. Even though I'd called within minutes, I was told I wouldn't get my money back unless someone else booked the apartment. We hadn't even booked flights yet, and I expected some grace given how far in advance it was. I never stayed there. They rebooked the apartment but didn't refund my $1.6K. The owners also never answered my requests for updates about whether it had been rebooked, so I involved my credit card company. I later dropped the suit after they agreed to work with me, and then never heard from them again. I know I sound like a very bitter person writing this years later, but it really was that terrible.
