The doors were the worst part of my stay at Rauan Hotel in Astana. Every room had a broken door, barely fit to be called a door, and they were almost impossible to close or secure. That left me worried about my safety and unable to relax during an already difficult situation. I ended up at the hotel because a snowstorm hit Astana on February 8, 2024, and I had no other option for shelter. Inside, the rooms felt more like a war zone than a hotel. The carpets were filthy, the furniture was broken, and the whole place felt neglected and unwelcoming. Maintenance seemed lacking throughout. I understand that a storm can leave you with limited choices, but I strongly suggest looking at other places to stay in Astana before booking Rauan Hotel. The condition of the hotel showed little commitment to even a basic standard of accommodation. My stay was a regrettable experience, and I hope it helps others avoid the same dismal conditions.

There’s parking, and some of the rooms are especially spacious and attractive. It’s a small hotel close to the Nur-Sultan-1 train station, with clean, cozy rooms that are quite suitable for a stay.
