I was thrilled to find a chef who cares about burgers as much as I do. The bun was fresh, the Wagyu patties were top quality, and even the onions were fried just right. Everything felt carefully made, and the prices are fantastic. Easily the best burger I’ve had in Southeast Asia.

I haven’t stayed at the GH, but I stopped in for lunch today. The burger was easily the best I’ve had in Luang Prabang, and after more than 9 years living here, I’ve tried quite a few. It was really good and reasonably priced. Sahai is only a one-minute walk away. They open early for breakfast too, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We were heading out for food when we passed by, and the good value convinced us to give it a try. My girlfriend and I both got the wagyu smash burgers. They were incredibly cheap and honestly among the best burgers I’ve had anywhere. Definitely recommend. We ended up chatting for hours with the owners, Von, if I’m remembering right, and his wife. They were such lovely hosts that we came back for breakfast the next morning. The young guy working that evening was lovely too, though I can’t remember his name. 5/5, 10/10, we’ll be back.

The chef was so kind and came out to chat with us for a while. And the burger here is top notch, the best we’ve had in Asia. I’d definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.
