Naviengkham Hotel

Ms Jen, Ms Mai, and Ms Pouna made a real difference to our stay. Their care was incredible, and it wouldn't have been the same without them. Everyone was kind and helpful, the food was great, and our rooms were very clean. Souphattra was a wonderful way to begin our trip around Laos. I'd recommend it to anyone, and if I get back to Luang Prabang, I'd stay here again. Thank you so much!

The building and pool are beautiful, and the buffet breakfast was solid, with a la carte choices too. The mattresses are soft and the pillows comfortable. It's a bit farther from the main attractions, but there's a free shuttle and pickup service on demand. The hotel is quiet, with no street or hallway noise. Some evenings there was chatter from the pool bar, though it closes early. Fantastic value compared with other places in this price range.

The kitchen team made fabulous local dishes, and housekeeping kept our rooms in great shape with clean towels, refreshments, and nightly turn-down service. Thanks to the coffee and bar team too, I'll miss them! Breakfast always felt welcoming thanks to Miss Kiew, Miss Jan, and Miss Ya. Miss Pouna, Mr Pha, and Mr Bee made arrival and checkout easy. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely setting, with a pool, outdoor seating, restaurant, and bar, and easy access to all of Luang Prabang. Great staff!!

A lovely room in a decent location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The vegan choices at breakfast were a real disappointment, though. Between the buffet and a la carte menu, there was almost nothing without animal products: fruit, toast with jam, and a few salad items like lettuce, olives, and cornichons. We bought our own oat milk just so we could have cereal. For such a large breakfast buffet at a nice hotel, I couldn't believe there wasn't even plant milk.
