The lady who runs the place is so nice that she makes up for some of its rough edges. It's a cheap, decent place, with a pretty good location: a short walk to the main town and night market, and about 15 minutes on foot to Seven eleven. The room was alright, though the shower wasn't great. Breakfast was small but really tasty. I'd happily stay again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and could arrange tours, scooters, and bus or train tickets. Breakfast had a nice range of options. I had a good stay, with a great room and a great shower.

The location is handy, close to Main Street and an easy walk from the river. The lady was welcoming and offered a welcome drink, which you could accept if you wanted. But I felt ripped off when I saw the bedsheets in Room 9 hadn't been changed from the previous guests. The bathroom was dirty too, with moldy shower heads, and it seemed they weren't using proper hygiene products to clean it. For the price, the quality and lack of cleaning were poor, especially considering it's Laos.

The balcony was a peaceful place to unwind, even though the hotel is within walking distance of the night market and all the bustle of Luang Prabang. Breakfast was included, delicious, and had plenty of choice. We also found the laundry and other services efficient and reasonably priced. The room was clean, air conditioned, and had the basic amenities, and the customer service was exceptional.

The staff made us feel welcome straight away, even giving us a drink when we arrived. The place was clean and cosy, and offered scooters and tours at prices much lower than the other places we'd seen in Luang Prabang. This has been our favourite hotel in South East Asia so far, and the staff made the stay a real pleasure.
