We paid 190.000 per person, including hotel pickup, and had a smooth four-hour van ride to Nong Khiaw. After reading so many horror stories about the trip, we were pleasantly surprised. We booked through this place at the last minute, just 30 minutes before leaving. They spoke great English and were upfront that the local van could be good or bad. We took the chance, and it went really well.

There are plenty of places to eat right outside the hotel, and the rooms are very clean and smell lovely. Finding it on the street was a little tricky. I visited in December when it wasn't very hot, so I'm not sure how humid it gets in summer.

Comfortable bed and pillows, and the room was clean, spacious, and excellent. You're close to the night market, museum, Phousi Pagoda, morning market, and lots of tasty street food.

We had a wonderful two-night family stay. The peaceful feel made it easy to relax and feel at home in Luang Prabang. Staff were welcoming and kind, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommended!

It's hard to get over this location. The room was amazingly quiet, with AC and soft beds, which are rare here. Lee, the day man at the desk, was very helpful. You're beside the museum, with the Royal Ballet theatre in its grounds, and the night market sets up right in front. It's also a short walk to either river. The location is perfect.
