I'd go somewhere else. The town center is about a 10-minute walk, and the wood ceilings and stairs are nice, with secure parking at the back. But the wet bathroom was very old and needs an upgrade, the toilet seat was broken, and the main room felt dark and dingy. Breakfast was terrible: eggs and sausages were set out at 7:00 and left there, cold within 10 minutes. They also served bread with watermelon and papaya, and instant coffee. That's it? Three-star hotel.

Fine for a night or if you're watching your budget. The basic things were clean, and although old, they were in okay working order. Breakfast suited me: a couple of fried eggs, with the usual curries and rice soup also available. Even in the rainy season, the town was clearly drawing plenty of tourists.

The rooms are nice and the WiFi is great. There isn't a bar, and it's not near town. No mosquito nets either. It seemed to be mostly older German and Chinese guests. Nice enough.

The breakfast choices were amazing! My room was pretty small for what I needed, but it was well equipped and well kept. Fastest internet in town that I got to experience. A cool stay!
