We stayed in the former home of the King's brother, a UNESCO heritage-listed building. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the grounds were peaceful and well looked after. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredible, with lots of variety, and the other meals at Chez Auguste were delicious. Sanctuary Hotel Luang Prabang is within walking distance of the Historical District, the Palace/museum, temples, markets and the steps up Mount Phousi, where the views over town are stunning. A beautiful hotel in the heart of Luang Prabang. Highly recommend it.

The staff were hospitable and friendly, always smiling, and I enjoyed breakfast every morning. I stayed four nights, from February 19th-23rd, in a huge room that felt like paradise. This hotel was amazing, and I definitely recommend it.

The staff's kindness and attentiveness are what make this place so wonderful. Everyone was welcoming and always ready to help. I stayed in the beautiful, comfortable suite, which had housekeeping twice a day. The communal areas and gym were kept in great shape, and breakfast was tasty, with lots of variety and something different each day. I also had a massage and facial, both great and very reasonably priced. I can't recommend the sanctuary enough. Thanks for having me!

After almost a year of traveling around Asia, this is one of my favorite hotels. The staff are incredibly kind, the rooms are beautiful, and the atmosphere is calm. It's a lovely little gem. I arrived in a rush after the accommodation arranged by a volunteer agency turned out to be unacceptable. I was also dealing with a foot injury that meant I needed crutches. From the moment I got there, I felt cared for and appreciated. I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting LP.

Best place in town! The crew were incredibly hospitable, and the Team and Hotel gave us such a warm welcome. We were overwhelmed by it all. You're absolutely right to book this fantastic experience in this lovely town ❤️
