The friendly staff had limited English, but the stay was good value. Check online for deals, since we got a good price and it seemed others may have overpaid. It's about a five-minute walk into town, so most things are close. The hotel has a lovely setting with a lotus pond in the middle. One thing to know: it's around 200m down a narrow lane, so transport can't reach the door if you're carrying bags.

The only thing I regret is not staying longer. Breakfast was included and above average, the laundry cost very little, and they offer free bicycle hire. They can arrange any tour you can think of. Staff provided excellent service, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and tidy. It's close to everything in Luang Prabang. If you want to feel comfortable away from home, you don't need to look further. I'd give it six stars if I could. Excellent, six stars plus!

There are lots of places to eat nearby, even though this is a very quiet area. The hotel is a short distance from central Luang Prabang, with large, clean rooms and a peaceful pond full of fish in the middle. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but the banana milkshakes were a welcome bonus. If you're booking mainly for the pool, keep in mind there are only six loungers, so you might not get to use one.

Our family of four stayed for a week and found the hotel had everything we needed. We could walk anywhere in town, and the night market was less than five minutes away. Free bicycles were available too, and we loved riding around the city. Laundry at the hotel was fast and very affordable. The rooms were very clean and well stocked, while the grounds outside were relaxing and well kept. The pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast had both Western and Asian choices, which our kids absolutely loved. It's a beautifully updated hotel, and we highly recommend it!

I booked a room just one day in advance for USD 150 on Dec 13, 2025. The place had a great, quiet atmosphere and I really liked it. The room was nice, and although it didn't include an amenities kit, that didn't bother me. The unpleasant part happened close to checkout, around 11:00 am. I was naked in the bathroom when a female employee used her key card to open my room door. I felt embarrassed. I got dressed quickly and went to reception to report the incident to the manager, but staff said the manager was in Vietnam, not there. I emailed back-end support and got no response. If the hotel owner sees this, please use my experience to improve staff service.
