The bed was probably the worst we had during five weeks in Asia. The rest was okay for a night if you’re not too bothered by details. It’s quite old and rusty, and the walls are dirty, though the floor, bathroom and towels were sufficiently clean. Don’t come expecting a good bed or a modern hotel.

It’s just outside the town centre, a pleasant walk from the night market, where there are plenty of food stalls. The smart TV worked intermittently.

I stayed one night. The room was big and clean, though the bathroom could use an upgrade. The staff were friendly, nearby restaurants were convenient, and they let me bring my bike into the room. What more could you want?

The receptionist was friendly and greeted us with a smile. We arrived around 9:30 pm, but check-in was quick and there was no issue. We paid RM 76 for a weekday night, including breakfast. The choices were limited, but the food was delicious, and that was very good for us. The room was clean and big, with a car park available and air conditioning that worked well. Shower pressure was weak, one towel had a stain, and the bed might be hard for some people, but we were exhausted and it was fine for us. A good place for one or two nights if you’re okay with the bed. Recommended.

The room was spacious and clean, and the price was very reasonable. I’d stay again. The shower has its own partition, which is usually handy for keeping the floor dry, but the drain it uses is outside the shower. Breakfast ran from 7:30-9:30 and included a few stir fries, fried eggs and congee.
