The guesthouse looks out over a small river and sits close to restaurants, the market, coffee shops, and the square. Three of us stayed in a triple room for 400 kip. A friend who has been to Sam Neua many times recommended it. The air conditioning worked well, there was plenty of hot water, the Wi-Fi was strong, and they have an elevator. For the price, it was a nice place and worth every kip. I'd definitely come back.

The staff were friendly, though they don't speak English. The room was spacious and very clean for a good price, and the hot shower was welcome. Most of all, the bed was so comfortable. I hadn't slept that well in a bed in Southeast Asia for a long time.

The hotel's restaurant serves really good food, and it's a pleasant spot to relax, play cards, or figure out the next leg of your trip. The hotel itself is basic, but the rooms and bathrooms are in good condition and it's worth the price. There's not a lot to do in town, though the Phatet Lao caves are a definite highlight of the area.

We got in at 4am and found a large room with two double beds. The floor was sticky, and the sheets didn't look as if they'd been changed. When we returned after breakfast at 10am the next morning, the water was off. There are better hotels to be found.

The room was small, but it had a large hot water tank, and the AC's heating worked well. Breakfast was eggs with bread, or rice porridge, along with bananas and oranges. It's a basic hotel.
