Pilgrim's Kitchen & Inn

The riverside outdoor area was peaceful, and the food was very good at a reasonable price. My partner and I also found the room clean and spacious, with a really comfortable bed. The staff were attentive and friendly and made sure things were going well. We loved our stay and would recommend it. The location was perfect too.

Pilgrims had very good food and excellent coffee, and we loved sitting on the huge deck by the river. The staff were so nice and accommodating. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a very nice bed. The location was great for town, the temple, food and entertainment, and the river is beautiful. I booked through Agoda, which was fine, though I could have saved a little by booking directly with Pilgrims. We really loved staying here.

I only came for a meal, not an overnight stay. The Indian food was nice but a little short on flavour, while the masala chai was very good. The indoor dining room felt a bit shabby; the outside area is much nicer and has a great river view. It's a long walk from the night market and town center.

The Mekong location is great, the staff are nice, and the freshly roasted Lao coffee is delicious. Prices are fair too. But I tried a lot of dishes and found the food very average, with many items tasteless or poorly prepared. It would be great if the food quality improved 🙏 It's otherwise a super spot.
