I spent four nights here and especially appreciated the host's help with my laundry. She was wonderfully hospitable. The room was simple, spacious and clean, with a pleasant feel, and even with some rain I felt at home. I believe you should treat the hosts and their place with care and respect, and you'll get the same in return. That's how I travel. Also, if you don't book a 5-star hotel, don't expect 5-star luxury. The quality matches the price well, and it was great value for the money.

Amy was friendly and very helpful, running the place on her own, which is impressive. These are authentic Lao bungalows set in a garden out of town. It's a good base for nature, the lagoons and viewpoints, and it's on the road to the main lagoons and other sights. Town is still close enough to walk to, with restaurants nearby.

Amy was so helpful and went out of her way to give us personal recommendations for things to do in Vang Vieng. We had a peaceful, quiet stay in these lovely bungalows, and the AC was the best we've had in the entire country. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend staying here!

The green common areas are cute and pleasant to wake up to. The shower is really spacious, with a steady flow of hot water, and the room and bed are spacious too. The bridge wasn't a problem for me; earplugs made it even better. Amy is warm and welcoming, and made me feel safe and at home. She gave me lots of tips and places to visit, which made my trip much more enjoyable!

The location is good, with easy access to many famous places, and the place has a lot of potential. But the pictures don't show the full view of the apartments and garden. There are holes around the doors, windows and elsewhere, so be ready for mosquitoes even if you keep the windows closed. The WiFi didn't work, the shower barely worked, and the AC was in poor condition. The owner's attitude was strange. From what I gathered in other people's comments, it's the same woman who's usually around. At check-in, though, she told us she wasn't the owner and couldn't help much. At checkout, she complained that we hadn't asked her about the checkout time and had followed Agoda's instructions to leave at 11am. She said checkout was at 10:30am and that she couldn't update Agoda, and that it was our responsibility as clients to check whether the information was correct rather than hers to tell us it was wrong. Looking at other comments and her responses, it seems she always blames someone else. Instead of complaining, I'd suggest making a few upgrades and changing that attitude. The place could do quite well. I wish you good luck.
