Vilayvong Boutique Hotel

The strongest part was the internet connection, which worked well during my one-night stay and two-day workshop. The meeting room was nice and had a mountain view, and the hotel room was quite large with a nice view too. Cleanliness was a problem in both places. The meeting room bathroom had no handwashing soap, and the toilet paper was hanging outside the toilet. My room wasn't clean, and water kept running in the bathroom. When I told reception, the person seemed confused by the report and didn't appear to care about the leak. The air freshener used throughout the hotel and meeting room was the main issue for me. There was so much of it that it gave me a horrible headache.

This was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed. The photos on the website were nothing like the hotel, and you can easily find a cleaner, cheaper guesthouse. I wouldn't want anyone to stay here, and this place shouldn't even be called a hotel. Someone very close by played loud music every night, and the other guests were really noisy. If you don't believe me, go ahead and book a stay.

The room was huge, had everything I needed, and came with a view that made the stay worth it. I spent two nights here and had a wonderful time. Best hotel in Vang Vieng! Thanks so much to Laa and the whole staff for making it feel special. See you soon 🫶🏼

The other hotel guests made noise from the evening until 1am, playing music and chatting, and I couldn't sleep well. Even after being warned by the guest, they didn't seem to lower their voices. It was the worst experience ever. If you want a comfortable, quiet stay, avoid this place.
