The place had a comfortable feel, and the staff were friendly. It’s also in a great spot. One of the best hostel stays I’ve had, and I’d happily come back or recommend it to anyone visiting Vientiane.

The café was a cozy spot to work or meet other travelers, and the staff were always smiling and helpful. I also loved having good coffee and a fresh, filling breakfast right there. The coffee was rich and aromatic, clearly made with care. The rooms at AROMA Coffee & Hostel in Vientiane Capital were clean, comfortable, and well kept, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere that suited both solo travelers and couples. Having the café and accommodation together made it easy to relax after a day exploring the city. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Vientiane.

The service was very good, and everything was good enough for the price.

We were pleasantly surprised by Aroma. We’d booked through hostelworld, where there weren’t any reviews yet, but the facilities were clean, with toilet paper and hooks in the shower. Breakfast was included, and there was a discount on the menu. The friendly guy at reception even gave us free iced tea whenever we spent time in the cafe. It’s a good location, just a short walk from the night market, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Vientiane. There aren’t locks on the room doors, though there is a small locker for valuables. The building closes at 22 or 23.
