Our car was scratched in the hotel parking lot during our week-long stay. Staff told us there were more than 10 CCTV cameras, but the owner said they couldn’t turn them on and spoke rudely to customers. We paid to stay here and ask that more attention be given to the service and parking area so accidents can be prevented.

An incident at the hotel raised serious safety concerns for me, especially since there was no CCTV coverage. Staff also didn’t respond to customer concerns. After this experience, I wouldn’t consider the hotel a safe place to stay.

The service was poor, and staff didn’t respond after a car accident in the parking area. There wasn’t proper security, and the CCTV at the front of the hotel wasn’t working.

For the price in the city center, you’d otherwise be looking at beds in hostel dorms. This place has clean rooms, comfortable beds, a good standard, and free WiFi, so it’s likely one of the best deals in town. When I visit Vientiane, I always stay at Chaleaunsy.

The receptionist was welcoming and seemed nice, but his English was poor, so even basic communication was difficult. The reception area was small, clean, and plainly decorated. Our room was also small but clean, with good air conditioning. We stayed one night, and it was about a 20-minute trip from town.
