Cheuang 2 Hotel

The shower was amazing, and the room was spacious with water provided. The view from the breakfast area was nice, and there were enough options to feed us, though the breakfast wasn’t great. We’d booked the room for just $9, but at reception the guy tried to charge us $24. We refused and paid the planned $9, which put us off the atmosphere. We were satisfied with the room for the price we got, but not impressed by the service.

The hotel is very clean and well worth the price. The receptionist and other staff are kind and helpful, and it’s very close to the martket. You should try it out.

I’ve been here a week and plan to stay for the next few weeks too. For a “3-star hotel,” it deserves 5 stars. It’s inexpensive, the staff are very nice, my room gets cleaned every day, and the complimentary breakfast buffet has a good variety. WiFi works very well, even with my VPN back to USA, so I can stream Amazon Prime movies. There’s free parking at the back, and the location feels very safe. Just a note, not a complaint: it takes a few minutes for the shower water to get hot, probably because my room is at the end of one wing. Be patient and it stays nice and hot once it comes through.

I stayed for two nights, but the staff couldn’t fix anything. It took a long time, and they didn’t move me to another room in this old hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
