Salana Boutique Hotel

Getting around was easy from The Salana Boutique Hotel. Temples, cafés, restaurants, and major sights are all close enough to reach on foot, and the central location feels convenient without being too hectic. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the start. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, and they were consistently helpful with advice and small requests, which made travel between destinations easier. Our room had plenty of space for two people and our luggage, with a practical layout that didn’t feel cramped. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well proportioned. The shower had good water pressure, which was welcome after a long day exploring.

We were glad we picked Salana Boutique hotel for our time in Laos' capital. It’s upscale and very nice, though not cheap, and prices are in USD. The restaurant offers plenty of Western choices, and breakfast had a very good selection. The room was large, comfortable, modern, well appointed, and well maintained. There’s an elevator, and the room had a safe, frig, good wifi, and the expected amenities. The hotel is close to the night market, food markets, and airport, with most local attractions walkable. Tuktuks are easy to find just outside if somewhere is too far on foot.

Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. Milk at the front desk was especially kind and helpful. They even kept my luggage for a few hours when I passed through Vientiane again, though I wasn’t staying another night. I highly recommend The Salana Hotel.

We spent just one night here in Vientiane. The night food market and night shopping market are quite close, though other tourist spots take a bit of a trek to reach. The room was fairly clean, but we found ants in the bathroom despite being on a higher floor. Staff were lovely, and as someone who’s gluten free, I could manage breakfast with eggs.
