I can't recommend this place. I've had my clothes washed there several times, and they lost socks every time. Before, I didn't bother asking because I had to catch a train. Today I did ask, but the woman didn't look for them. She said I should have checked before leaving the shop instead of waiting until I was back at my hotel. They put the clothes in closed bags when returning them and don't ask you to check, and they just don't seem to care about lost items.

This rental is about the cheapest around, and that's its only real plus. The bikes seem prone to problems. Mine broke down about 10km outside Vientiane, and it took an hour and a half before I was back on the road with a replacement. They didn't apologize or compensate me, and then claimed I'd run the battery flat. I'm still not sure how I was supposed to have done that. The replacement bike started misfiring and hesitating, but they said nothing was wrong and refused to swap it. They also wouldn't extend the hire by a day. They were rude and obnoxious about it, saying they didn't want to rent to me anymore. Pretty shoddy, best avoided.

We also bought bus tickets to Udon Thani here. The complimentary hotel pickup was on time, and they took us to the bus station and helped us all the way to the parking area where we had to wait for our bus. We rented a motorcycle for 24 hours, and the woman was friendly and nice. We got a Honda Click in good condition, rode only around Vientiane, and had no trouble with it. It saved us a lot of time and money.

Getting a bike from them was really easy, and the staff were very nice and polite 🙂
