For $12, you get air conditioning, a hot shower, and somewhere to sleep. The building is a bit old, but that's what I'd expect at this price. The guy at reception was helpful, and they can provide a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo if you ask. The odd thing was that my room had no toilet seat. Otherwise, a good cheap option for a night or more.

There’s an easy, relaxed feel to this guesthouse, and I liked the warm yellow lights for reading. The rooms are well equipped, too. I sometimes wonder about the history of older buildings turned into expensive hotels, since a pretty renovation can’t tell you what happened there or whether the place feels right for a good night’s sleep. Here, though, I found no dark history or anything ghostly. A pleasant stop while exploring Vientiane City.

The family is nice, and the modest rooms are kept neat. There’s no fridge in the room, though, and I didn’t like how many neighbors’ dogs were in the alley. Just a few steps away, on the corner, there’s a good coffee shop with pastries.

It’s in a quiet spot, close to lots of little restaurants, and the price was good. The owners were very friendly, the room was clean, and we got two fresh bottles of drinking water every day.

Just outside the centre, so it’s quiet and peaceful. The family running this lovely place were welcoming and very friendly, and it’s cheap to stay here.
