The wooden staircase creaks but feels solid, which is reassuring. The staff are very nice, and the location is in the main tourist zone while still being quiet, especially in a room at the back. Haysoke's street stalls and well established roadside restaurants are close by too.

The hotel has potential, but it needs better hospitality and maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable, and they wanted extra money when I asked for another blanket because of the mattress. On top of that, they left my room unlocked while I was out after housekeeping. Wi-Fi worked only sometimes, and some lights in the room were broken.

BE CAREFUL! They change the names on hotel apps, which seems intended to confuse people. When you book through an app, they ask for cash only. Then they cancel the reservation and say you didn't show up. If you don't notice, you get charged a cancellation fee worth an extra night. You also can't leave a review in the app because it says you weren't there. Meanwhile, they keep a high score on the app and charge more than other hotels in the area that are actually better quality.

I paid 170,000 k for a two bed room. The location is great and it's good value for the money, but the bed bugs brought down my rating. Luckily, they had bug spray that took care of the issue. Please get rid of the bed bugs.

The mattress was the one letdown, far too soft and clearly old. Otherwise, this small hotel is well placed, and the simple, clean room had the comforts I needed, including Wi-Fi, cable TV, a fridge, and a private bathroom.
