We'd heard this was the cheap place, so we went to check it out. At first the atmosphere seemed positive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we asked for a room, the receptionist said there was space but it had to be private. We said we wanted a dorm, and he replied that dorm beds were available, but they had bed bugs, and suggested we take a private room if that bothered us. Seriously, shouldn't they deal with the bed bug problem instead of steering people toward private rooms? We sat in the reception area and booked a different hostel that was cheaper and way better, then left.

The staff spoke English well, which made things easy, and the Wi-Fi worked, though the signal was weak in some spots and needed reconnecting. The price is very affordable, but the place is basic and cleanliness could be better. My sheets were stained and seemed rarely washed. There were no lockers, and some taps were broken. An upper bunk could be tricky and dangerous to climb onto if you're not alert when you go to sleep. Breakfast was listed as included, but there was none between 7 and 9:30 a.m. It's a reasonable choice if you want something very cheap and can live with the basic setup. It covers the essentials without extra comfort.

We arrived today with a booking for one night, but they told us the hotel was full and had nowhere for us to sleep. Even the reception area looked dirty at first glance.

There were bed bugs in the room. We asked reception to move us, but they simply said no other rooms were available. Don't stay here.
