Seasons Riverside Hotel

The bed was the one thing I liked. The hotel feels extremely old, and the walls and floor were dirty with no repairs in sight. Breakfast had no vegan choices beyond some vegetables and fruit, and flies were all over it, so I didn't want to touch anything. The tables were dirty too, with rubbish and cigarette ash on them. The hot and cold water labels on the taps were in the wrong places.

The room was roomy and clean, though not especially comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast didn't offer much choice, but what there was tasted good. The hotel is right by the river, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

April 2023 brought very hot, damp, hazy weather outside, with severe drought in Laos and Thailand at the time. The hotel room was clean and spacious, with two comfortable single beds, though the air conditioning blew loudly like a gust of wind. From the small balcony, all you could see was the road in front of the hotel. There was a breakfast buffet, and prices felt high.

The photos look nothing like the actual hotel. Breakfast was pretty sad, with instant coffee, orange squash and fried eggs that we didn't eat. Two stars is me being generous.
