We had a fantastic BBQ with vegetables from the local night market, and renting a bicycle was free, which made exploring the area easy. Coffee was free too, and motorbikes were available to rent. The Englishman who runs the place with his Lao family and the family were happy to help us find things to see nearby, with a useful guide to read as well. It's just outside the city, but the bus was cheap and straightforward. The grounds are pretty and comfortable, a lovely spot to slow down. Thanks for having us, and good luck with the projects ahead 🙂

The peaceful, unusual setting worked perfectly for our cycle tour. My partner and I could spend a full day in Vientiane, then get out of the city before setting off north the next morning. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. We enjoyed staying in a tent, though next time I'd choose a bungalow for the extra comfort of an ensuite bathroom. Highly recommended.

Vince & his wife welcomed me so warmly and helped with every question. They even gave me breakfast for free, which I really appreciated since it was delicious and I was short on money. It's a lovely place to get away from the city center and feel tucked into nature with a kind family around you. I'd definitely recommend it!

The sunsets were incredible, with peaceful fields all around and nothing blocking the sky. The food was fresh and really good, and the owners were so nice. Vongkham Eco Resort could work just as well for a large group, with its stereo system, projector, BBQ and fire pit, as for solo travelers looking for a friendly, quaint place to stay. I'd highly recommend the Vongkham Eco Resort to anyone visiting Laos.

The tents are roomy and inexpensive, with space for four people. It's a relaxing place, and the staff are friendly; the owner is doing what they can to make guests comfortable. They have a barbecue and bonfire, and scooters are available to rent for a day trip to the center. The place has only just opened, so they're still planning to add more. They can also pick you up from or drop you off at the bus station or airport.
