The worst part of my three-night stay was how much street noise came through the single-pane balcony glass. I couldn't open the windows either, since there were no insect screens. The bedding and towels were old, there was no kettle or tea in the room, and breakfast was poor. I missed breakfast because of the holiday and Christmas parties, then asked for just a coffee so I could take my medicine. I told them I knew breakfast had ended and was willing to have anything available. They brought the coffee with a bill. When I refused to pay, they took it away. That felt malicious and classless. I've never encountered that kind of behavior anywhere else. The way they handled guests was simply awful.

We only stayed one night, and it went well. The room had an amazing view, and breakfast was very good.

I left two small bags of thyme and honey for someone staying at the hotel. He forgot about them, and when we asked reception a week later, they said they hadn't found anything. I expected better from a hotel like this.

The view from the room was wonderful, and it was clean. The location is very good too. Everyone was friendly, from reception and the front desk to the housekeeping team.
