We paid 40 USD for one night without breakfast, and when we raised the room’s condition with the owner, he neither apologized nor lowered the price. The location is excellent for the Cedars of God and nearby skiing, but the room and bathroom had serious cleanliness problems. There was a lot of mold, a big mark on the shower curtain, and the bedsheets were covered in hairs until we asked to have them changed. The rooms are large, though the decor is dated and the place is very dirty. I’d advise checking the room before agreeing to stay. I’ve included photos showing the lack of cleanliness throughout.

The owner is really friendly and makes you feel at home. The hotel’s location is handy in both summer and winter, whether you’re skiing nearby or spending a weekend in the area. The rooms are spacious, but old, and the hotel needs renovation and maintenance. It’s an okay stay, though there’s plenty of room for improvement. Don’t expect anything fancy.

The owners are sweet and hospitable, and the setting near the Cedars of Lebanon is lovely. You can enjoy the feel of nature there and catch an unforgettable sunset and sunrise, so I’d recommend it for a night if that’s what you’re after. It isn’t a luxury place, though, and I’d give the food two stars.

The Lebanese food was delicious, and the staff were generous and so friendly. They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel if you’re visiting ARZ (cedars of lebanon) or Bcharreh.

The staff were very friendly and looked after us well, and we felt right at home. Our appartment was comfortable, spacious, clean, and had a great view. We had a good experience at the Alpine Hotel.
