Lancaster Eden Bay

I left a bag in the lobby and called reception about it. They said it wasn’t there, but my gut told me otherwise, so I went back the next day. Turns out the valet had kept it with him. It had sensitive papers and everything I needed, and they just held onto it? What kind of policy is that? 😂😂😂 This hotel’s a joke, and don’t get me started on management, especially the security one. You’ve been warned. If you have a specific amount you want to spend, don’t come here. Somehow these people will scam you.

Everything felt organized and relaxing, and the location was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great hotel and service. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The food was delicious, and the management team were kind and kept checking that we were okay. But table service was slow and had mistakes, as if there weren’t enough servers. More staff would probably help. The sound system was poor for a five-star hotel, and that matters at a ceremony. I’m giving three stars for the wonderful staff, and I’m coming back next week. Hopefully the service and technical setup improve, so I can give the five stars the food deserves.
