The food was consistently awful, even after I gave the kitchen around 10 tries over four months, from April to August 2025, hoping it would improve. It was the worst-tasting food I've ever had, in every sense of the word, whether in old or modern history. Padova Hotel did have helpful staff, good safety, and facilities that seemed well maintained. Its general cleanliness and service were good too, but the food was a major problem.

I was even kidnapped right outside the hotel in November 2022, and not one staff member tried to help or step in. I stayed there for several weeks, and my memories of the place are entirely negative. The furniture is dated, breakfast is poor, and prices are high for what you get. You can find much better for the same cost. Wi-Fi was extremely bad, especially on the higher floors. They display a 5-star rating at the entrance, but the service doesn't meet even a 2-star standard.

The rooms were noisy and outdated, and the staff weren't nice. I checked out at 04:00 AM after a lost flight and wanted to check in again at 7:00 AM. They said the room was occupied and wouldn't let us back in, even though our booking was supposed to run until 11:30 AM.

Customer service was zero. Breakfast was charged for, but no time was given for when the buffet would be released. The area was calm, but there were disturbing noises from the upper floors and corridors early in the morning. There was no safe parking for vehicles.
