Guias Boutique Hotel & SPA

We came as a group and booked two suites with Jacuzzis, but they were so dirty, and the toilet had water problems. When I called reception, the guy said there was no one to clean. Two hours later the power went out. I called again to ask about paying for another room, but he rudely said everything was full. There was no hot water in either the Jacuzzi or bathroom. We left after three hours, and nobody came to apologize. The service was so bad. I don't recommend this at all.

The only positive was that the masseurs were Lebanese. The spa itself needs renovation and maintenance, with humidity and mold in the underground space, and the room was cramped for two. The shower had only partly empty products, so we couldn't shower and had to leave. We booked a 60-minute couples massage but got 40 minutes, apparently because they counted getting undressed and showering as part of the slot. Nobody asked about health issues or what pressure we preferred. A very regretful experience.

The room was clean, though it smelled of cigarettes even though I'd requested a non-smoking room. On arrival they served me popcorn and a shot of vodka, which I really couldn't understand. The room was okay, and breakfast was okay too, with fried eggs, lwbneh, and some vegetables.

The receptionist was extremely friendly, and that's the only star I can give. The shampoo came in a sauce cup, there were no slippers, and the towels and sheets were old and dirty. The furniture was old too. It's the dirtiest hotel I've ever been to, and honestly I couldn't wait to get out. It felt like a nightmare.
