Cinnamon Paradise Flower Room

Champi was such a great host, and I loved learning about cinnamon. The breakfast was the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The beautiful rooms feel like they’re in the jungle, but it’s still an easy walk to Ahamgama’s main area and the beach. The beds were comfortable, with really soft sheets and pillows. I’ll keep coming back.

The hosts and their family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made delicious local breakfasts every day. The host also took time to explain how cinnamon is made. That was a highlight of a really unique stay. You’re basically living in a treehouse among cinnamon and coconut trees, monkeys and other wildlife. The design is lovely and spacious, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The open-air bathroom was a memorable part of it too. Just know that being immersed in nature means animal sounds and more mosquitoes, so this kind of stay won’t suit everyone. Amazing experience, highly recommended.

I loved walking through the cinnamon garden to reach the cabanas. The place is calm and peaceful, with kind, helpful owners and clean, nicely finished rooms that give you plenty of privacy. Breakfast was delicious too. Honestly, a hidden gem and a beautiful, relaxing place to stay.

The family running this little place was the best part of our stay. The lady of the house made varied, delicious breakfasts, and the owners could arrange things like laundry or a scooter and tried to meet our needs. You can feel how much heart they put into it. The chalets were clean, comfortable and very nicely done. We had good rest in the peaceful setting, though being close to nature meant noisy animals at night and more mosquitoes. A morning shower outside with monkeys swinging nearby was a memorable experience. If you want a quiet base in Ahangama, consider Cinnamon Paradise. Thank you!
