Saman and his family were so welcoming, and the service was great. We liked the location and the rooms were above average, so we changed our plans and stayed a couple more days. It’s near Ahangama city, where you can get a cheap train, bus, or tuktuk along the coast, and it’s also close to the paradise beaches of Kabalana. The guest house has a lovely mix of jungle and coastal living. We’ll stay here again when we visit Sri Lanka.

I stayed here for 10 days during my winter holiday in sri lanka and loved it. It’s directly across from ahangama beach, which is handy for surfers and others too. The spot is quiet, but still close to ahangama centre and midigama. Saman and the staff were kind and helpful whenever guests needed anything. Highly recommended.

There’s a rooftop deck with an ocean view, plus a nice garden with shade and sun loungers. The guesthouse is very new, with 9 different rooms, some with air con and some without. My room and bathroom were extremely clean. It’s about a 7 minute walk to the beach and around 10 minutes to town. Anton, who works here, is kind, speaks good English, and is always smiling.

The pricier rooms have fantastic hot showers. The location is amazing too, right opposite the surf break. I love Ahangama, and this place is perfectly situated.
