Stay at Ahangama

It felt like being at home with nature all around us. The place is beautiful, and the team made things easy with their thoughtful attention and proactive help. We loved the meals and all those warm smiles. Such a peaceful, refreshing stay, and we’re already keen to return.

We felt at home throughout our four days at STAY at Ahangama in June 2024. There were eight adults and three children across several families, and the villa worked really well for both relaxing and playing. We spent time by the pool and shared meals in the breezy dining area. Ashan was our main contact and was quick and thoughtful in his communication, making sure we had what we needed. The chef and caretaker were just as attentive and friendly, and cooked delicious food that brought everyone together. The villa was spacious, spotless, and well cared for, with a lovely mix of comfort and charm. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly place near the beach. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly return.

The hosts and caretakers really made this stay. Mr. Sanjeewa, the manager, kept in touch from before we arrived until we left and was always available. As someone who loves food, I have to praise Charith’s cooking. I had some of the best Sri Lankan dishes I’ve tried. The property is beautifully kept, with modern amenities alongside traditional southern charm. Getting there is convenient, close to the southern highway, and Ahangama beach is within walking distance. It’s one of the best boutique places I’ve stayed, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

We had a great vacation here, with really good food and a lovely place to stay. It’s beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully put together. Thank you for having us!
