The place itself is lovely to look at, with artefacts throughout, lots of spots to sit, a big garden at the back and a great pool. Breakfast was good too, with eggs made to order and plenty of fresh fruit or savory choices. Outside, the main road is busy, though crossing it was manageable. There are lots of good restaurants and shops nearby, and the beach is clean. Even though it's close to that road, the rooms weren't noisy. They were clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage, and the bathrooms were good. The staff were all fantastic. Summit, the owner, greeted guests personally and was available if we needed anything. I'm glad we finished our Christmas trip in Unawatuna at Ridee Villas. Thank you for making the end of our trip special.

We had a wonderful stay with our three-generation family. The host and staff took great care of us, the rooms were very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The beach and loads of restaurants are close by. I'd recommend the VIP rooms if you'd like your own balcony. Thank you!

Ridee Villa has a special atmosphere that you don't get from a beachfront hotel. The building is impressive, with local and colonial touches, even though it's not right on the beach. The manager and staff were extraordinary and very attentive, doing their best to meet every wish. If you visit Unawatuna, choose Ridee Villa.

A cozy hotel garden, nice rooms and friendly, attentive service. Breakfast was good, with fresh papaya and mango among the choices. The staff were helpful when I needed transport.

The owner and staff were so welcoming, even beyond what I expected. The villa is beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable, with a nice pool and a garden where you can do morning yoga. The rooms and beds were comfortable too. It's just a two-minute walk to Unawatuna beach. A perfect place to stay here, I don't think you'll find better. Recommended for anyone.
