Stuthi Villa

We had a lovely time here and would happily recommend the place. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Do try the Sri Lankan option. A couple of minor things: the room’s connecting door meant we could hear some noise at night, and the location felt a bit out of the way. Even so, we’d gladly stay again.

The staff were wonderful, always around to help or offer guidance. Their kindness and hospitality really shaped our stay, and we’d happily return to Stuthi Villa if we’re in the area again. We spent two nights there in early December and were glad to find this little gem. The grounds are lush and well kept, and our room exceeded expectations for quality, character, and cleanliness. The outdoor shower was great too. It’s a small boutique hotel, so it never felt crowded, and it suited us as a couple looking for peace and quiet. We were sorry to have only stayed one night. This is a lovely spot for a group of friends looking to relax and enjoy themselves, with five rooms and a big, beautiful pool. My husband and I came across this gem by chance, tucked away on the land side in Ahangama. The villa is artistically done and surrounded by lots of trees. Our room was clean and spacious, and we loved the outdoor shower. Stefan, the owner, was great company and truly Sri Lankan at heart. The staff were always helpful and smiling. Definitely a place to stay when visiting Ahangama.

We spent lots of time outside because the garden and pool area were so well kept. The rooms were pretty, clean, and maintained well, and the staff were helpful. Kudos to Mr.Vasanth for looking after the place so well. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast. The food was okay, though it wasn’t hot. Still, this property is worth visiting.
