Ayurveda 386 Villa

Ayurvedic food was excellent, and the garden was alive with colorful birds, squirrels, geckos and even monkeys. Brown, the friendly dog, was there too. The pool was wonderful, and a beautiful, secluded beach was just a short 300-meter walk away. The place has a simple beauty without unnecessary frills, and feels like paradise, where time stands still and your body is healed while your soul rejoices. I'm deeply grateful to the always smiling staff, including the Ayurvedic doctors and masseurs, who cared for us with treatments lasting hours each day. I especially want to recognize Sanath, the masseur and therapist. He worked with me every day for eight days. I've experienced many top-level therapists across Europe, and I'd confidently place him among the very best. A true professional, he doesn't treat you like just another body on the massage table. He connects with you, senses where the problems are and adapts his techniques to your needs. In his hands, I felt renewed and full of energy. He deserves heartfelt recognition.

Our group had a full range of treatments based on Ayurvedic traditions during a 10 days retreat at Villa386, and I noticed an improvement in both my physical and mental state. Others in the group noticed similar effects. The food was delicious and healthy, though sometimes unusual. Some of us even asked the chef to arrange a cooking lesson. Our London yoga teacher invited our small group to join her there. The villa felt more like a friend's house than a hotel, with a deeply relaxing, peaceful and supportive atmosphere. It was elegantly decorated and well equipped, with a lovely garden and spacious, pleasant pool and treatment areas. Every member of the villa team, from housekeeping to medical staff, was exceptionally kind and professional. I especially enjoyed feeling surrounded by nature, with squirrels jumping on the rooftop and a gecko sometimes sitting on the bathroom wall. For me, it was an ideal retreat in a place like paradise.

The days were planned around the Panchakama treatments, with meal times adjusted to fit and Sujewa arranging trips to local sights at the best times, including a Madu River safari and Secret Island to avoid crowds and catch the sunrise. The food was delicious and suited our specialised Panchakama diet. We spent plenty of time enjoying the tranquil setting, mature gardens full of food-bearing plants, and tropical birds whose calls and pictures kept us happily occupied. The kind, attentive staff made a real difference, and our room was clean, with fresh towels and wraps replenished daily. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the trip and Panchakama became an experience of a lifetime. I’d gladly recommend Villa 368 and hope to return soon. X

The treatments were a delight, and the food was delicious. There’s also an easy walk to the ocean for a swim. The garden and grounds are beautifully kept, while the staff are warm, kind, and helpful. Management clearly puts effort into making the stay a good one, and the value for money is excellent. Such a great find.
