The peaceful spot between the sea and river has little shrines and temples, and Viraj can set up Tuk Tuk rides there with a lovely friend. Back at the small guest house, there’s a garden right by the river and a delicious breakfast. Pier 88 is next door, with really good food, even fish and chips. Their young dog is harmless and keen to make friends, but Viraj will take the dog away if you’re nervous around dogs. Very relaxing, and I’d recommend it for some quiet time.

The beautiful river view and quiet setting made it easy to unwind after a long day. Villa River View also brought back my confidence in accommodation after a bad stay elsewhere. My room was comfortable, spotless, fresh, and well looked after, with care evident in the details. The staff were warm, professional, and ready to help, handling requests quickly and with a smile. I felt welcomed rather than treated like just another booking. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area who values clean rooms, good service, and genuine hospitality.

Viray and his mother were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything, and Viray made sure I had a good, relaxing stay. The Guesthouse Villa River View sits right beside the river, with restaurants and shops nearby. They also made an excellent breakfast 😋. Thanks, Viray, and all the best for the future. 👍☀️

The owners are really lovely and will arrange anything you need. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with a terrace and a view of the garden. There’s a nice garden outside too, and you only have to cross the bridge to reach the beach.

A peaceful garden makes a lovely place to relax, and breakfast was amazing with a view across the water to a Buddhist temple. The rooms are cosy, spotless, and look out over the river. Monika and Viraj are wonderful hosts, and the place is close to all amenities. Highly recommended!
