The beach is just about 30 meters south and was clean, empty, and stunning. There's a sea turtle hatchery and sanctuary between Ran Dhaka and the sea that you might want to visit. Ranjeet, the host, was incredibly hospitable and helpful. He made me a big breakfast and even drove me and my luggage to the train station. I had two excellent nights in a clean, cool room with everything I needed. Just a note, many of the photos posted are misplaced. It's good value accommodation.
