We couldn't use the pool because it rained, but we still had a wonderful two-night stay in Ampara. The hotel has a calm, beautiful setting that's great for relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with generous portions that we couldn't finish, and the taste and quality exceeded our expectations. From arrival onward, the professional, courteous staff were always ready to help and made our stay comfortable. For the price, the service is really worthwhile. Highly recommended if you're traveling around Ampara.

Right in the heart of the city, Monty Hotel made it easy to get around and visit nearby sightseeing spots. It has a welcoming, safe, relaxing environment and a rich history. The staff treated us with great care and were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. There was a wide range of delicious food at very reasonable prices. We discovered Monty Hotel while planning our long-awaited trip to Ampara, and it made the visit more memorable. Ampara is a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere at Monty Hotel in Ampara was beautiful and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind while visiting the area. I stayed there for two days, and the staff were welcoming with excellent service throughout. A really great experience, highly recommended if you're looking for comfort and a lovely setting in Ampara.

Lunch took around 1.5 hours to arrive after we ordered, and the service was extremely poor. The chicken koththu had hardly any chicken. The nasi goreng wasn't really nasi goreng, just mixed rice with an egg and one piece of pineapple. The wait and food quality were very disappointing. Based on my experience, it wasn't worth the time or money, and I wouldn't recommend the place.

We were there for two days. The pool was clean, and the rooms were clean too, though old. The food was especially tasty. Staff were friendly, but a little disorganized. Overall, a good experience.
